Fear of failure is one of the biggest stumbling blocks to success. We're afraid of what other people will think. We're afraid of being uncomfortable. We're afraid of looking bad.
One of the best ways to conquer those fears is confidence. Confidence in what you're doing.
If you're attempting something half-heartedly, then you should legitimately fear failure, because that's probably what's going to happen. If you only halfway try at something, then you should worry about what other people think, you should worry about looking bad, because you will look bad.
The secret is to make your dream big enough, your goal high enough, your purpose meaningful enough to inspire you and all those around you. If you truly believe, in the depth of your heart, in what you are doing, then you cannot look bad; you cannot be embarrassed.
Find a reason and a purpose, commit to it and have confidence in it. In the pursuit of it, you'll become the best you can be.
Think about what you would attempt if you knew you could not fail. Then go out and do it with confidence.
